This course is taught over 3 sessions; 6pm-8:30pm – 21st February, 28th February & 6th March 2024

Explore the potential of screen printing with our expert teaching artist and create your own artwork on this three-week evening course. Learn how to use various screen printing techniques including handcut stencils, photo emulsion and monoprinting methods, through the screen.

This is a great introduction to screen printing using high quality equipment in our professional studio. You’ll finish the workshop with a range of your own limited edition screen prints onto A3 cartridge paper.

Who is the workshop for?

This course is suitable for adults who are complete beginners or those who wish to refresh their previous skills in screen printing.

Do I need to bring anything?

All materials, equipment and tools will be provided for you each week. Feel free to bring along sketchbooks, images or books for inspiration if you have any. We recommend wearing old clothes in case you get a bit inky! Sensible footwear with a covered toe should be worn in the print studio.

Tutor

Bobshaped is an artist and facilitator based in West Yorkshire. Pattern, repeats, layers, colours, nature, technology, craft, packaging and architecture are some of the things that inform her work. Sometimes there is a bit of humour thrown in for good measure.

Course Booking Terms and Conditions

Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.

Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable, as are any donations submitted alongside a ticket payment. Bookings cannot be transferred between courses however bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day. In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop for any reason your ticket will be refunded in full.
