The title is what caught my attention when I first stumbled upon Eating With The Eyes. Published with life-affirming quality, Eating With The Eyes is a new publication by Unit Editions that raises its own questions about seeing things in new ways. The book consists of a photographic recording of accidental events spanning over a decade from Pentagrams partner Harry Pearces journeys around the world. This is a unique insight into Pearces mind and his thinking process as a “Pentagram partner, eternal optimist, human rights activist, dream diary keeper, graphic designer, accidentalist and photographer”.
Published by Unit Editions, the book also features an intro from Charles Saumarez Smith, the CEO of the Royal Academy of Art. There will be 150 special editions of Eating With The Eyes, which come presented in a box alongside one limited-edition signed print, a set of postcards and a folded litho poster. The book is now available for preorder.
