Sapore Dei Mobili

Ryosuke Fukusada is Japanese and Rui Pereira is Portuguese. Both are product designers and they met in Italy. Their collaborative work in the field of product design, and mutual interest in exchange has produced to a culturally dynamic future for the duo, foremost being their project – ‘Sapore Dei Mobili’ (Furniture Tasting). Positioning itself as a ‘reflection on the velocity of the contemporary furniture industry’ and the extensive market of new products within easily overlooked field, they have created Pan Furniture, combining traditions from both designers’ cultures to create a new form of familiarity.
