“Bangor is an energy” was coined by John Lydon when PiL performed on Bangor seafront in 2018. Using this quote as a jumping off point, The Court House commissioned four artists from Seacourt working in screenprint, to create a design/s that celebrates Bangor’s music scene and speaks to the appetite of a place that is reinventing itself through vibrant arts-lead action.
Four artists – Craig Jefferson, Jessica Hollywood, Imogen Donegan and Steph Harrison have produced a body of work that is diverse in style, yet similar in vibrancy and energy. We cannot wait to see the work hanging in this amazing venue.
Join us on Friday 29 November from 5pm-7pm for the launch, meet the artists, and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine on arrival.
The exhibition will take place in “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘮” on the 1st floor of the venue.
‘𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆’ is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
