The eighth edition of the Lucca Art Fair will be held from 19 to 21 April 2024 at the historic Real Collegio di Lucca, bringing its cloisters and frescoed rooms into the present day.
The fair, like the building in which it is housed, traverses the epochs of art history, from the 20th century to the present day, in a journey that the Lucca Art Fair wants to set up as a dialogue between local and non-local, Italian and international projects.
The selection of the participating realities is aimed at ensuring a constructive confrontation between them and the public at the Fair.
The format will follow the consolidated structure in three sections:
* The main section, dedicated to the most historicised galleries, both national and international, which will propose a path through the modern, post-war, and contemporary periods;
* Art Projects, reserved for galleries and projects dedicated to the most innovative languages and the dialogue between different techniques and generations;
* Independent, entirely dedicated to project spaces, artist and curatorial collectives, and independent spaces.
For this eighth edition, the dialogue between the consolidated sections will be animated by a new project linked to the world of art publishing.
Registration closes on 28 February 2024
