SUMMARY:"Ur-Aqua - Cronache alluvionali"
DESCRIPTION:The APS Centro Studi Internazionale Altre Origini – S-CIAO association and the Dopolavoro Fotografico (DLF) photography collective are collaborating on the exhibition “Ur-Aqua – Cronache Alluvionali\,” scheduled for October 2025 at the former Centrale del Latte in Vicenza (Via Giacomo Medici 96a\, 36100 Vicenza).\nUr-Aqua – Cronache Alluvionali explores the delicate and unstable balance between urbanized space and the waterways that flow through it—a source of life and prosperity as well as a harbinger of destruction. This transversal reading begins with the unstoppable nature of floods and questions how communities and the environment mutually shape one another in a perpetual cycle of conflict and resolution. \nThe former Centrale del Latte hosts two exhibitions and a series of events focusing on manual printing techniques and photography as a means of reworking the contemporary. \nThe exhibition was created with the support of the Department of Participation of the Municipality of Vicenza and the contribution of Madam Agency (ig). Technical sponsor: Kita Frame. \nGround Floor\nUr-Aqua – Manual Printing Techniques: Exhibition of artist’s books created using typography\, screen printing\, and linocut techniques by Johny Hycinte Ngbwa\, Alessandro Martufi\, and Federico Blu di Prussia during their artist residency at the Tipi Strani workshop in Marano Vicentino (VI). Works by the artists\, all connected by the common thread of water\, are also featured. \nFirst Floor\nUr-Aqua – Photography exhibition curated by Lisa Dal Lago with projects by Martina Lavarda\, Veronica Mariani\, Emanuele Tortora\, and Lara Vedovato. \n传/Chuán & Boundless Bound Publishing: Dialogues Across Heritage\, Publishing\, and Practice was last modified: September 3rd\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:Hot Printing. Offenbach Print Festival\, 22 and 23 August 2026
DESCRIPTION:It’s set to be a colourful and diverse weekend once again: For the third time\, the Hot Printing festival in Offenbach will bring together over 90 artists and collectives who explore the theme of printing in a wide variety of ways. A young and dynamic scene will showcase their printed works – from screen-printed posters to traditional letterpress\, experimental lithography and material printing\, right through to comics and zines in vibrant colours produced on a Risograph printer!\nYou can look forward to stalls\, workshops\, readings\, talks\, exhibitions\, music\, a bar\, good food and inspiring discussions. Find the full festival programme at www.klingspormuseum.de – entry is free! \nPrinting plays a major role in Offenbach’s history: Lithography was first used commercially in Offenbach for printing sheet music at the end of the 18th century\, laying the foundations for the printing of posters and illustrations\, which is now ubiquitous. The Klingspor Museum collects modern and contemporary printed works\, and small print workshops and initiatives have been setting up in the city over the past few years. Printing is simply part of Offenbach’s identity\, and exhibitors from the surrounding area are now looking forward to welcoming a diverse range of visitors\, alongside print enthusiasts from Leipzig\, Hamburg\, Berlin\, Vienna\, Zurich and the Netherlands! \nAs well as browsing and shopping\, you can of course try your hand at printing here too: The hands-on programme includes postcard printing on the Boston platen press in the print workshop\, Lego printing and kitchen lithography\, a sock-printing station using screen printing\, cyanotype and water lithography\, as well as a host of talks\, demonstrations and readings. The workshops are aimed at print enthusiasts of all ages\, whether you’re an experienced printer or a keen amateur – there’s something for everyone! \n传/Chuán & Boundless Bound Publishing: Dialogues Across Heritage\, Publishing\, and Practice was last modified: September 3rd\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:Introduction to Risograph workshop
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n2.5 hrs workshop\nMaterials and light refreshments provided\n£40 plus booking fee\n\n  \nIn this group workshop you will learn how to create artwork for risograph printing\, supported by an experienced artist riso print practitioner.
