SUMMARY:Marbling and Screen Printing Workshop with Extravacat
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever dreamed of creating unique and mesmerizing patterns? Extravacat takes us into the world of marbling!\nJoin our paper marbling workshop and immerse yourself in a creative experience that blends art\, color\, and technique! \nDate: September 27\, 2025\n@ Manisinistre – Via Vincenzo Rabolini 18\, Milan\nCost per participant: €75\nDuration: approximately 5 hours\nTimes: 10:00–12:30 – Lunch break – 1:30–3:00 PM\nNumber of participants: 8 \nWhat is marbling?\nMarbling is an ancient immersion decoration technique.\nIn this technique\, drops of paint are deposited on a watery surface from which they expand in a sort of random dance\, creating ever-changing patterns. The colors are finally absorbed by what is delicately placed on the surface\, in a magical process that makes each creation unique! \nIn the Extravacat workshop\, we’ll experiment with marbling on paper and\, finally\, we’ll complete the works with screen printing on some marbled pieces. \nAt the end of the day\, you’ll take home a fantastic new experience\, in addition to the works we created together. \nThe workshop is suitable for everyone; no drawing skills or special knowledge are required. \nHow the course will be structured:\nWe’ll begin with a brief introduction to the technique and materials for marbling. Afterwards\, everyone will experiment by creating different marbled sheets\, choosing color combinations and trying different color textures.\nWe’ll take a short lunch break to let the works dry\, and after lunch\, we’ll proceed with the screen printing.\nWe’ll briefly explain how this printing technique works and then proceed to print some posters with unique graphics designed for the day! \nWho is Extravacat\nExtravacat is an accessories and clothing brand founded in 2021 by Marija Milic\, an artist and artisan from Trieste who places the ancient technique of marbling at the heart of her artistic work. \nEvery Extravacat creation is handmade\, from the fabric decoration to the final assembly. \nThrough her psychedelic creations\, she pays homage to all the “weirds” of the world\, celebrating the diversity and boldness of those who are not afraid to think outside the box. \nIf you have any questions or anything else\, please email us at manisinistre@gmail.com\nWe look forward to hearing from you \nET VOILA was last modified: February 6th\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:"Ur-Aqua - Cronache alluvionali"
DESCRIPTION:The APS Centro Studi Internazionale Altre Origini – S-CIAO association and the Dopolavoro Fotografico (DLF) photography collective are collaborating on the exhibition “Ur-Aqua – Cronache Alluvionali\,” scheduled for October 2025 at the former Centrale del Latte in Vicenza (Via Giacomo Medici 96a\, 36100 Vicenza).\nUr-Aqua – Cronache Alluvionali explores the delicate and unstable balance between urbanized space and the waterways that flow through it—a source of life and prosperity as well as a harbinger of destruction. This transversal reading begins with the unstoppable nature of floods and questions how communities and the environment mutually shape one another in a perpetual cycle of conflict and resolution. \nThe former Centrale del Latte hosts two exhibitions and a series of events focusing on manual printing techniques and photography as a means of reworking the contemporary. \nThe exhibition was created with the support of the Department of Participation of the Municipality of Vicenza and the contribution of Madam Agency (ig). Technical sponsor: Kita Frame. \nGround Floor\nUr-Aqua – Manual Printing Techniques: Exhibition of artist’s books created using typography\, screen printing\, and linocut techniques by Johny Hycinte Ngbwa\, Alessandro Martufi\, and Federico Blu di Prussia during their artist residency at the Tipi Strani workshop in Marano Vicentino (VI). Works by the artists\, all connected by the common thread of water\, are also featured. \nFirst Floor\nUr-Aqua – Photography exhibition curated by Lisa Dal Lago with projects by Martina Lavarda\, Veronica Mariani\, Emanuele Tortora\, and Lara Vedovato. \nET VOILA was last modified: February 6th\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:NO:BOOKS presentation at SUPALIFE KIOSK Berlin.
DESCRIPTION:Dear art lovers\, art enthusiasts\, and friends of printmaking\, \nWe are delighted to invite you to our NO:BOOKS presentation at SUPALIFE KIOSK Berlin. \nOn Friday\, September 5\, 2024\, we will proudly present the publications created so far within the NO:BOOKS publishing platform. You can look forward to “No Drone Zone” (a silkscreen book) and “No Solo” (a linocut book)! \nFor these book projects\, around 24 artists joined forces to produce high-quality print graphics using screen printing and linocut\, shaping them into two original graphic books. \nWe would love to celebrate this special moment with you! \nYours\, \nThe No Books Collective \nAbout NO:BOOKS \nNO:BOOKS is a publishing platform for the collective production of original graphic books. At the same time\, NO:BOOKS is a collective of artists from different disciplines and backgrounds who work together to realize original graphic works. Our focus lies on the craftsmanship of analog printing techniques—such as screen printing and relief printing—applied to the creation of artistic book projects. \nIn fall 2023\, “No Drone Zone” became the very first NO:BOOK\, bringing together 12 artistic perspectives on the object of the drone. Entirely hand-printed in three colors\, the book combines futuristic-dystopian scenarios and mythical references with formal and abstract interpretations of the principles of “surveillance and technology.” At a performance during the exhibition at Galerie KUB in Leipzig\, the finished books were even “signed” by a drone. \nIn 2024\, the second round of NO:BOOKS once again brought together a new selection of artists\, this time focusing on the technique of relief printing/linocut. The works\, printed in three colors\, pushed the limits of the medium through experimentation. “No Solo” unites individual artistic positions with collaborative works in which pairs of artists responded to one another to create joint prints. \nAt the heart of NO:BOOKS lies the spirit of collaboration. It is an attempt to bring together individual approaches\, styles\, and perspectives within publishing concepts and to create spaces for artistic dialogue. Each artist benefits from the energy and expertise of the whole group. In this same spirit\, we are already preparing the third publication. But first\, it’s time to celebrate the books that have already come to life! \nOpening reception: September 5\, 7:00 PM \nExhibition runs until September 26\, 2025 \n\nET VOILA was last modified: February 6th\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:Typographic Printing Program 2025 / Session II
DESCRIPTION:The Typographic Printing Program is a 13-day typography and letterpress printing intense course in Switzerland. It is founded on the work of Swiss poster designer and letterpress printer Dafi Kühne\, and its objective is to explore progressive typography in conjunction with traditional analog tools. In 2022 and 2023 we have conducted satellite sessions in collaboration with Hoffmitz Milken Center for Typography in Pasadena\, CA. \nFor 2025\, we offer two Sessions. \nSession I\, June 29–July 12\, 2025\nor\nSession II\, July 27–August 9\, 2025 \nApply now on:\ntypographic-printing-program.com \nET VOILA was last modified: February 6th\, 2026 by
