SUMMARY:SPS Exhibition ‘I need to move to think’ by Lucy Grainge - Opening Night
DESCRIPTION:Sonsoles Print Studio Celebrates its 14th Anniversary with an Summer Exhibition by Member Artist Lucy Grainge. \nDuring a recent artist residency at Kypseli Print Studio in Athens\, Lucy developed a series of screen prints as part of an ongoing project exploring neurodiversity through the medium of print. Her work explores themes of flow\, hyperfocus\, distractibility\, chaos\, and language mishaps through fragmented letterforms\, creative writing\, layered overlays and repetitive geometric shapes. She has further developed the work at Sonsoles Print studio for an exhibition of prints called ‘I need to move to think’. \nOpening Night : Thursday\, 10 September 2026 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM \n( Please book a free ticket ) \nExhibition Period: 11th September – 5th October 2026 \nOpening Hours: Monday – Friday\, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM \n| Weekends by appointment only \n———- \nAbout the artist \nLucy Grainge (she/her) is an artist\, designer and facilitator from Manchester based in South London. Her practice explores colour\, shape and pattern working across printmaking\, design and installations. Lucy is interested in collaborative and community centred projects and often works in the public realm. She is co-founder of Wiggle Wonderland CIC\, a touring pavilion shaped by artists and communities. Lucy is currently working on her first two permanent public art commissions\, both informed by printmaking processes. Her clients include Wellcome Collection\, Selfridges\, Dulwich Picture Gallery\, De La Warr Pavilion and the National Theatre. Lucy is an active member of the Sonsoles Print Studio community. \nArtist website: \nwww.lucygrainge.com \nInstagram: @_lucygr \nImage credit: Sarah Rainer \nOpening Event Sponsor – Hops Burns and Black \nGlasgow Print Fair was last modified: October 23rd\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:The Ink Club: Meet up for printmakers (Bristol event)
DESCRIPTION:The Ink Club is hosting a Bristol Printmakers Meet-Up on Saturday 17th October\, 12–4pm\, and we’d love you to join us! \n\nAbout the meet-up\nThe Ink Club hosts regular free gatherings for printmakers. Its a chance to step away from our often-isolating studios\, meet the people behind our online connections\, and enjoy a drink/coffee with others who share a love of print. \nThe meet-ups are completely free and open to all print techniques and experience levels. Whether you’re a seasoned printmaker or just starting out\, come along for a relaxed afternoon of meeting fellow makers. \nSome people like to bring a small portfolio to share\, but it’s definitely not required! Feel free to stay for the whole afternoon or just pop in and out whenever suits you. \n📍 Venue\nThe Old Vic Theatre\nKing Street\, Bristol\nBS1 4ED \nA lovely\, central space with plenty of places nearby to grab food and coffee. Wapping Wharf is also just a 10-minute walk along the harbourside. \nBadge machine\nBring along any offcuts\, misprints or little bits of work that can’t quite become a ‘second’ I’ll have a badge machine available so you can turn those scraps into something lovely! \nThere will be enough badge blanks for everyone to make 3 badges each: \n\nOne to keep – a little something for you to take home.\nOne to trade – swap with another maker at the event. A lovely and easy way to introduce yourself to someone new!\nOne to leave behind – add your handle to the badge and it’ll become part of a collection we take to future meet-ups\, helping other makers discover you.\n\nDon’t have any of your own work to use? No worries! I’ll have various offcuts available on the day so everyone can join in. \nWe’re expecting printmakers from across the UK and beyond\, with people confirmed from as far as Scotland and the USA. It’s shaping up to be a lovely afternoon! \nRSVP\nIf you’d like to join us\, RSVP here: \nhttps://tinyurl.com/BRISTOLINKCLUB \nPlease do share with anyone you think might be interested. SUMMARY:GOOD NEWS Poster Art Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:17 Top Illustrators are giving away their art! Come along to the Blas Cafe on 8 October at 6pm for the launch of this exhibition and you will receive a free newspaper poster book of 17 amazing artworks.\n\nFeaturing the work of…\nCATHY HOGAN / SHANE CLUSKEY / ALAN DUNNE / CHRIS HAUGHTON  / GRACE ENEMAKU / JOHN DEVOLLE / ASHWIN CHACKO / LISA MCHUGO / AMY LAUREN / KATE ESCOLIN / AILEEN CROSSLEY / PAUL NUGENT / KENYA DEMPSEY / NIALL MCCORMACK / LAUREN O’NEILL / HARRY BURTON / LYDIA HUGHES\n\n\nThis exhibition came about because we wanted to shine a light on some of the brilliant illustrators who are part of Illustrators Ireland. Having decided we needed some sort of theme\, we picked the title ‘Good News’ partly as a nod to the tabloid – sized\, newsprint format of this poster book\, but also in an attempt to put something positive out there. We acknowledge that there is a lot wrong in the world today\, the news is full of horrible stories of the worst of humanity\, newspapers and politicians deal in fear and doom. This can often leave us feeling powerless and apathetic (this is what they want!) In order to inspire people to stand up and make a difference in this world we also need to celebrate the good things. Whether that’s a positive\, global news story or something much more personal\, something that makes you happy or gives you a moment of joy. Or even just the act of making some art for no good reason at all.\nGlasgow Print Fair was last modified: October 23rd\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:IN DIESER STADT
DESCRIPTION:SERIGRAFFEUR und LA FÈVE präsentieren: \nIN DIESER STADT\neine Ausstellung von Sebastian Wagner. \n \n\nSERIGRAFFEUR and LA FÈVE present: \nIN THIS CITY \nan exhibition by Sebastian Wagner. \nWe are pleased to invite you to a new exhibition at Café La Fève this summer. From late June through late August\, we will be showcasing screen prints by Sebastian Wagner. The Berlin-based graphic artist and fine art printer Sebastian Wagner is the creative force behind the Serigraphica print studio. The exhibition features various editions of cityscapes—works you may already recognize from his stalls at Berlin art and design markets. Among his best-known pieces\, they reveal his unique perspective on the city\, blending graphic design\, architecture\, and screen printing. The exhibition is complemented by a series of large-format “makulaturen” (proofs or waste prints). These are created directly during the screen printing process as colors\, shapes\, and motifs collide and overlap. What begins as mere working material often develops a distinct appeal of its own—existing somewhere between chance and deliberate composition. \nClosing event (Finnissage): Wednesday\, September 30\, from 7 PM \nLa Fève Café\, Karl-Kunger-Str. 58\nBerlin Alt-Treptow\nThe artist will be present. \nGlasgow Print Fair was last modified: October 23rd\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:Linocut 101 Workshop with Sarah Bogdal - August
DESCRIPTION:Level: Beginner \nApprox. Duration: 6 Hours (Two 3-hour Weekly Sessions). This class is 2 parts\, each a 3-hour session on consecutive weeks. You must attend both dates to complete your project\, and you must attend the first day in order to proceed. \nAge Requirement: 16+ (Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian who is also enrolled in the class.) \nIn this hands-on workshop\, you will explore the exciting world of Linocut Printmaking! Learn how to draw\, transfer\, carve and print your own design\, leaving with your very own carved block and custom prints. \nInstructor Sarah Bogdal will take you through a historical perspective of printmaking\, relief and linocut\, moving on to an in-depth look at materials\, and finally guiding you through the process of successful carving and printing. \nStudents will leave with their own carved block\, three custom prints created from the block\, and resourceful materials distributed in the class for ongoing reference. \nNo prior experience required\, open to all levels. \nThe Forge is grateful for our partnership with Paper & Ink Arts\, in which all materials and instruction are fully sponsored\, and included as part of the class fee. Register here: https://www.theforgenashville.org/workshops/p/introduction-to-linoleum-printmaking \nAbout the instructor: \nSarah Bogdal is a printmaker living and working in Nashville\, Tennessee. Her practice is shaped by the joy of the process: every linoleum block is a visual puzzle of light\, texture\, and space. She earned her BFA from Watkins College of Art in 2018 and has since exhibited her work in 16 states\, tabled at dozens of art markets across the Southeast\, and regularly hosts workshops to recruit others into the cult that is print. Sarah’s goal is for each print to lie just shy of disorienting—visually dense enough to require a second look\, rewarding those who let themselves linger.
