SUMMARY:Artide-Arti a Tempo Determinato
DESCRIPTION:“ARTS WITH AN EXPIRATION DATE”\nby Roberta Feoli\nIn the San Pio X district of Vicenza\, “Artide – Arts with an Expiration Date” comes to life: a\nsmall artist-run studio dedicated to fine art printmaking\, contemporary printing\, engraving in all its forms\, artist’s books\, and experimentation. An intimate and authentic space conceived as a place for encounter\, practice\, and dialogue\, open to the community through classes\, workshops\, events\, demonstrations\, exhibitions\, and moments of exchange.\nThe distinctive nature of Artide is embedded in its very existence. The studio is housed in a neighborhood building already scheduled for demolition as part of the High-Speed Rail (TAV) construction works. While the exact date of demolition is unknown\, the fate of the space is sealed. From this condition emerges the name “Artide – Arti a Tempo Determinato” / “Arts with an Expiration Date”: a laboratory that consciously chooses to exist for a limited time\, quietly yet firmly occupying an urban space destined to disappear through the discreet force of art.\nWithin a context shaped by large-scale infrastructure that redraws the territory\, Artide positions itself as an ephemeral yet intentional presence: a cultural gesture that\nrestores life\, relationships\, and meaning to a place in the final stretch of its existence.\nNot a monumental project nor a symbolic operation\, but a proximity-based intervention\, one that demonstrates how even the city’s peripheral\, temporary\, and\nfragile spaces can host initiatives of professional quality\, genuine sharing\, and openness.\nArtide grows out of the experience of Roberta Feoli\, printmaker\, printer\, and artist\, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino and long committed to promoting\nsustainable and respectful printmaking practices. For over thirteen years she directed the print workshop at the International School of Graphics in Venice. Since 2018 she has been associated with Shepherd & Maudsleigh Studio (Newton\, Massachusetts); since 2022 she has been a member of People of Print LTD (Derbyshire\, England); and\nsince 2025 she has been part of the Veerle Room Foundation (Antwerp\, Belgium).\nShe has been a Guest Artist for Boston Printmakers and Mixit Print Studio\, has participated in conferences and artist talks in the United States\, visited the Vermont\nStudio Center\, and is the first Italian artist to have specialized at Zea Mays Printmaking\, an international reference center for non-toxic printmaking. Today she continues to dedicate her practice to teaching\, workshops\, artist residencies\, and collaborations Artide’s activities begin with a series of limited-capacity events. -On Saturday\, February\n7\, 2026\, a workshop dedicated to cyanotype will take place\, led together with Matteo\nTotaro\, teacher and typographer engaged in the exploration of new visual languages and analog printing processes\, with particular attention to the relationship between image\, material\, and narrative.\nOn Saturday\, February 21\, 2026\, a drypoint workshop will follow\, using recycled materials such as food-grade cardboard\, culminating in the printing of a small\, precious edition.\nPersonalized sessions are also available for small groups\, couples\, or individuals interested in fine art printmaking or the production of specific editions. Registrations\nwill be accepted and confirmed by email\, in order of arrival\, until the four available places for each session are filled.\nArtide – Arts with an Expiration Date is a laboratory born with the knowledge that it will end. A brief space of creation\, thought\, and imagination in the heart of a neighborhood undergoing imposed transformation: a small urban miracle\, destined to live intensely\nbefore disappearing.\nFor information and registration for the February events:\nfeolirobertaprint@outlook.it \nRoberta Feoli\nWorkshops\, meetings\, and storytelling related to fine art printmaking that is more sustainable and respectful of both\nthe environment and people. \n  \nSPS Exhibition ‘I need to move to think’ by Lucy Grainge – Opening Night was last modified: September 10th\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:Andy Warhol: Pop Icon
DESCRIPTION:Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was an American Pop artist who reimagined what art could be at a time of great social\, political and technological change.\n\nThis survey of works from across his career includes early drawings\, painted screenprints and photographic series featuring Warhol’s collaborations with artists\, friends\, filmmakers and celebrities. Images of Marilyn Monroe\, Liz Taylor\, and Warhol himself feature alongside icons of American consumerism\, as well as symbols of the artist’s fascination with mortality.\n\n\n\nThe FREE exhibition includes rarely seen early drawings and illustrations from the 1950s; paintings from the 1980s never exhibited in his lifetime; and lesser-known ‘stitched photographs’ which were the focus of his last exhibition before his death.\nSPS Exhibition ‘I need to move to think’ by Lucy Grainge – Opening Night was last modified: September 10th\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:OUT
DESCRIPTION:OUT is a group show consisting of 29 artists whose practices push printmaking in different directions and whose work challenges the conventions of contemporary print.\nThis exhibition responds to the increasing sameness of many print shows; their commercial expectations\, reliance of framed presentation and shop-like displays – and proposes an alternative vision of what printmaking can be when freed from these constraints. The theme of the show\, “the outside” is a metaphor for its one defining rule; no works will be framed\, every artwork will hold its own space outside of the traditional print frame. As a project\, OUT does not reject conventional print exhibitions but instead highlights the medium’s inherent openness. It advocates for print as an expansive\, collaborative\, and materially adventurous practice; one capable of occupying space\, responding to site\, and engaging with the world beyond paper and frames. The exhibition seeks to give visibility to ambitious\, boundary-pushing works\, championing artists who push printmaking outward and establishing a platform for experimentation\, dialogue\, and exploration in contemporary printmaking.\n\nPrivate view: Saturday 24th January 2-6 pm\n\nOpening hours:\nSaturday 24th January 10- 6pm\nSunday 25th January 10- 6 pm\nThursday 29th January 11- 4 pm\nFriday 30th January 11- 6 pm\nSaturday 31st January 10- 6pm\nSunday 1st February 10- 6pm\nSPS Exhibition ‘I need to move to think’ by Lucy Grainge – Opening Night was last modified: September 10th\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:Give Print a Chance Market 2025
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 December at Print Workers Barcelona ( Pl. John Lennon\, Gràcia\, Barcelona ) you have an appointment with more than 25 international and local screenprinters artists by the hand of Give Print a Chance. Screenprinting Market of Barcelona. \nThe Open Call and selection of international and local artists who will participate in the 10th edition of this annual event of screen printing in Barcelona is running until November 15th. \nThanks to the collaboration of Casa Jam Barcelona Print Workers offers free accommodation to long distance artists that participate in Give Print a Chance. \nGive Print a Chance is a Christmas Market dedicated exclusively to illustration and limited edition handmade design. If you are a screen printing artist or you produce work in letterpress\, risography or linocut\, you are still in time to be selected to participate in the 9th edition of Give Print a Chance. \nA little bit of history \nFor 11 years\, Print Workers Barcelona has been promoting screen printing through courses and the extensive catalog of artists in its art gallery. Give Print a Chance is the ultimate expression of this commitment to bring screen printing to the general public as an art as democratic and accessible as it is dazzling. \nLocated on Pl. John Lennon in Barcelona’s charismatic Gràcia neighbourhood\, the name of this annual screen printing event in Barcelona came about easily and almost naturally. What better name than Give Print a Chance in homage to the song Give Peace a Chance by the legendary Liverpool musician? \nAbout the market and the line-up of artists \nGive Print a Chance is a great small-format marketplace. Thus\, in 2024 and 2023\, the total flow of attendees was 900 and 1.100 people .And three years ago there were almost 800 people. So we are very happy to have consolidated Give Print a Chance after the two years of pandemic absence. \nThe market\, like the Print Workers Barcelona project\, has always had an international vocation. And just as the prints in the Print Workers gallery catalogue are sent all over the world\, the market participants are usually local and international artists in equal parts. \nOver the course of 9 editions\, international screen printing artists such as Oli Fowler ( UK )\, Elisa Talentino (Italy)\, Antighost (Germany)\, Tind (Greece)\, Mirjam Dijkema (Netherlands)\, Mandy Doubt (UK)\, Olivier Le Zizien (France)\, Ofycina Peryferie (Poland)\, Ileana Rovetta (Portugal)\, Rat Trap (Colombia) or The Fingersmith Letterpress (Singapore) have shared space with local artists such as Miguel Bustos\, Error Design\, Serigrafia Monoestereo or Jan Barceló\, among many others. \nIf you visit Barcelona for Christmas you should know that… \nGive Print a Chance is a must for lovers of illustration\, design and 100% handmade gifts with free admission. \nAnd if you want to attend as an audience and need accommodation\, Casa Jam Barcelona also offers you a discount. \nSo you can enjoy this event focused on screen printing in Barcelona. A city that you will love. \nSPS Exhibition ‘I need to move to think’ by Lucy Grainge – Opening Night was last modified: September 10th\, 2026 by

The two matrices\, inspired by the numbers 17 ‘a disgrazia and 31 ‘o padrone ‘e casa\, bring together numerous figurations\, objects\, and elements capable of best interpreting the two subjects portrayed. The engravings were inked with Cranfield Colours and printed on Fabriano “Rosaspina” paper. The People of Print event will remain open with the exhibition until January 11th in the Trastevere spaces in Rome. The works of 45 artists encompass the 90 numbers of the Neapolitan Tombola\, interpreting the symbolism of the Smorfia with imagination and inventiveness. For this reason\, I decided to exploit the gradient and brightness of the color to convey the duality of the mirror image in the two relief prints. The post visually narrates the entire process of design\, carving\, and printing on paper\, as done by many friends with their own artworks\, like Andrea Guerra in Urbino. If you’re in Rome during the holidays\, go visit the exhibition! \nSPS Exhibition ‘I need to move to think’ by Lucy Grainge – Opening Night was last modified: September 10th\, 2026 by

SUMMARY:Open Call with free accommodation for Barcelona´s Give Print a Chance Market 2025
DESCRIPTION:Taking place on Saturday 2oth and Sunday 21st December at Print Workers Barcelona\, the Give Print A Chance market is back for 2025 with its 9th edition. The market is host to more than 25 international and local screen print artists\, and is a must for lovers of illustration\, design\, and 100% handmade gifts. The Open Call for this year’s event is now open until November 15th\, and the team at Print Workers Barcelona are looking for both international and local screen printers to take part. \n \nThanks to the collaboration of Casa Jam Barcelona\, a local hostel\, Print Workers offers free accommodation to long distance artists that participate in the market. Give Print a Chance is a Christmas Market dedicated exclusively to illustration and limited edition handmade design. If you are a screen printing artist there’s still plenty of time to participate in the 9th edition of Give Print a Chance and travel to the wonderful city of Barcelona. \n \nFor the past 11 years\, Print Workers Barcelona have been promoting screen printing through courses and an extensive catalogue of artists with its art gallery. \n \nGive Print a Chance is an awesome small-format marketplace. The market\, like the Print Workers Barcelona project\, has always had an international vocation. And just as the prints in the Print Workers gallery catalogue are sent all over the world\, the market participants are local and international artists in equal parts. \nOver the course of 9 editions\, international screen printing artists such as Elisa Talentino (Italy)\, Antighost (Germany)\, Tind (Greece)\, Mirjam Dijkema (Netherlands)\, Mandy Doubt (United Kingdom)\, Dugudus (France)\, Ofycina Peryferie (Poland)\, Ileana Rovetta (Portugal)\, Rat Trap (Colombia) or The Fingersmith Letterpress (Singapore) have shared space with local artists such as Miguel Bustos\, Error Design\, Serigrafia Monoestereo or Jan Barceló\, among many others. \nNon local artists that participate are able to stay for free at at Casa Jam Barcelona\, an emblematic slow tourism hostel in the Gràcia neighbourhood. And in exchange\, through the Print Workers commission\, provide graphic artworks for Casa Jam to decorate their walls. \n \nSo get involved in this wonderful celebration of screen printing this Christmas! \nImmerse yourself in a new creative community\, share and sell your artwork\, and there’s even free accommodation! Apply to take part here. \nSPS Exhibition ‘I need to move to think’ by Lucy Grainge – Opening Night was last modified: September 10th\, 2026 by
