DESCRIPTION:The RWA is now welcoming submissions for the 173 Annual Open Exhibition until Monday 22 June 2026. \n  \nTaking place between 12 September 2026 – 3 January 2027\, the RWA Annual Open Exhibition will feature both emerging talent and established names\, spanning painting\, drawing\, printmaking\, photography\, architecture\, sculpture\, and mixed-media installation. It represents some of the most exciting artists working across the UK and beyond today. \nWith a strong emphasis on supporting artists through sales\, the exhibition attracts over 10\,000 visitors annually. DESCRIPTION:Artworks by Sue Coe\, Art Spiegelman\, Chris Ware\, and 50 other visiting artists and Rice University art students are the subject of an upcoming showcase at the Holbein Art Gallery in Osaka. Running from 7/16/26 to 8/21/26\, this presentation will offer visitors a unique opportunity to engage with the innovative techniques of Risograph printing. \nJoin us for the opening reception from 4 PM to 6 PM on July 16\, 2026\, with a public presentation by Rice University Associate Professor Christopher Sperandio\, who will share insights into these artworks produced at the Comic Art Teaching and Study Workshop (CATS) at Rice University in Houston\, Texas. \nThe Holbein Art Space\, Osaka\, is open daily from 11 AM to 6 PM and is located at 2-2-5 Ueshio\, Chuo-ku\, Osaka-shi\, Osaka JAPAN 542-0064.
