The Scottish designer notorious for her joyful prints and lively graphics has once again embedded her playful aesthetic, this time in the form of Monumental Murals which beautifully decorate the landscape at Tramway, Glasgow.
The striking artworks were commissioned by Glasgow Museums in order to showcase a new collection of North Indian Art, consisting of folk art, textiles and Dhokra sculpture from West Bengal.
Entitled Pehchaan: Art from Another India. Pehchaan’, meaning ‘identity’ in Urdu and Hindi, the vibrant creations are part of a collaborative project which opened on the 18th June and runs until 31st July 2016.
