Lines and Strokes

Lines and Strokes is a bi-monthly exhibition night put on by Scott Blows and Will Blood where Brighton artists can showcase and sell their work with no commission taken. Essentially they just give artists a platform to show their work in a nice venue.On the 20th of September the Marvel special launched at Cafe Nest, Kensington Garden in Brighton. This event sees 12 previous lines and strokes artists recreating 12 different Marvel characters in framed one-off or a limited set of prints for sale. On the night they had Marvel artist Lee Townsend drawing. The prints are on display and sale for another two weeks so head down to say some reinterpretations of your favourite superheroes and villains by artists such as Graham Clark, Paul Jackson, Emilie Lashmar and many more.
