Nelly Duff presents an exclusive one night exhibition with iconic British Street Artist Ben EINE, in the heart of Londons East End. The exhibition will be held in a disused warehouse, one of the last remnants of industrial Shoreditch. Since the turn of the millennium EINE was instrumental in developing the area into the artistic hub that it is today, and his bold use of colour and signature spray dust finish has cemented him as supreme Font Smith of the Street Art genre worldwide.
The show marks the release of EINEs 52 colour screen printed edition Tenderloin A-Z, which takes its name from an area of San Francisco and brings the West Coast of America to EINEs home audience!
This exhibition will also launch ‘The World Atlas of Street Art and Graffiti’ by Dr. Rafael Schacter, co-curator of the Tate Moderns renowned Street Art exhibition. EINE is one of the featured artists in this new book from Aurum Press which documents Street Art across the globe. EINE will customise 10 x ATLAS covers with the letter A, available randomly with the purchase of the book on the night.
Since its genesis on the east coast of America in the late 1960s, street art has travelled to nearly every corner of the globe, shifting and morphing into highly complex and ornate new styles. Displaying their work within what is effectively the worlds largest, most open gallery urban artists unveil their beliefs and imaginations to a public unable to avoid them, challenging conventional ideas about the place of art in everyday life. *
