Now into their second year, Print Club London and Somerset House will be curating a series of screen printed film posters for the 10th anniversary season of Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House.
Each of the contemporary, limited edition prints in the series are inspired by the particular scenes, quotes or characters from the films shown in the season. 16 artists are taking part including Rose Blake, Concepción Studios, Cassandra Yap, Hattie Stewart, Kate Moross, Steve Wilson, Kate Gibb and HelloVon. They take on films such as E.T, Sense and Sensibility, The Royal Tenenbaums, Annie Hall, Hairspray, Mad Max 2, Ghostbusters and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
The show runs in the West Wing Galleries, Somerset House, from 31 July – 25 August, 10:00-18:00 or (from 18:30 for Film4 Summer Screen ticket holders) and is free admission, I strongly recommend you go and take a look.
