Ethel Vaughn, the brainchild of Hamburg-based designer Katrin Diedrich since 2010, has been grabbing more and more attention and acclaim on the underground scene in the last few years for it’s avante garde, 90’s sportswear-inspired aesthetic with a strong focus on printed graphics. However the latest collection, ‘Gangs of St Tropez’ is set to be her most celebrated yet, featuring collaborations with young artists including egyboy, a Lithuanian ‘car-racer’. I am particularly loving the signature dollar bill sign print, applied to everything from trackies to baby rompers, as well as the recently-dropped new line of caps. Stay tuned for an apparently imminent, heavily updated list of European stockists.
