Carmen Segovia is a artist that can spread her talent over multiple disiplines. Her charming style works both in her spot colour illustrations seen in her work for Nobrow, and can be equally effective in her embroidery work. What is particularly captivating is the dark humour that fills her work. The delicate and traditional nature of embroidery contrasts surprisingly well with her subject images. These also benefit from the minimal colour palette that is mirrored in her print work to create details that bring her narratives to life.
