We are very happy to say that we are affiliated with Fedrigoni and look forward to working together on our future projects and events. Here’s a little bit of news about them winning some prestigious awards.
In 1962 a group of designers and art directors joined forces to create what is today known as the D&AD (British Design & Art Direction). Alan Fletcher, David Bailey and Terence Donovan where among this esteemed group of creative industry professionals which now represents the creative, design and advertising communities worldwide.
The annual D&AD Award is known as the industry reference standard for celebrating brilliance in creative communication. The covered Yellow Pencil on a desk as D&AD says will get gasps of admiration it represents work that is outstanding, rather than merely brilliant.
Pari Taylor, Head of Marketing for Fedrigoni UK, last year commissioned two design agencies to create the two separate Yellow Pencil winning promotional tools. Sirio the art of Colour a multi-hued book consisting of concentric circles to promote the Fedrigoni SIRIO COLOR range of papers by SEA design, and The Fedrigoni product Guide and Price List a 500 page definitive source book for Fedrigoni papers by Design LSC.
Taylor says We gave them a brief, and they used the wonderfully expressive Fedrigoni papers to create two design pieces which not only demand your attention, they highlight perfectly how Fedrigoni paper can add value to printed communications.
