Olek is a Polish street artist currently living in America and is known for her obsession to cover basically anything in wool, creating crazy, colourful, and unique artworks. Shortly after moving to USA, she became a “crochet master” after crocheting the windows of a abandoned, burnt-out building in New York. Her most remarkable piece is a false apartment entirely crocheted with a bunch of elements from her personal life. She loves playing around with camouflage and typography creating a cartoon-esque environment. Most of the things she writes in her installations and pieces are extracts from her own life, mostly using email and sms conversations.
