Short Run is a festival held annually to celebrate emerging artists, cartoonists, animators and self-publishers. This weekend-long celebration of Seattle’s lauded small press community was set up in 2011 by a group of friends, Eroyn Franklin, Kelly Froh, Jenny Gialenes and Martine Workman with an aim to become another helpful resource for print, comic and book enthusiasts.
Seattle, a coastal city with an estimated 600,000 residents has now become a creative hub of both young and amateur international artists. This year, the event will be participated by more than a hundred exhibitors and is proven to be a great and fun alternative to large-scale conventions.
