It’s all over the internet and rightly so. Oslo-based Snøhetta have created a pixelated design concept which has been selected by the Central Bank of Norway. The designs are a visual language which use bright colours and pixel art to commemorate the coastal landmarks of Norway. Snøhetta will be working alongside another company called The Metric System to create these awesome bank notes that are due for release in 2017, after rigorous safety measures against counterfeit reproduction have taken place.
