26th International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno 2014

Return for its 26th edition, International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno kicked off yesterday at the Moravian Gallery in Brno, Czech Republic and runs through 26th October 2014. For over half a century, this prestigious event has served as a platform for design practitioners to share and discuss contemporary issues in design practice as well as the turning points and the ever-changing nature of graphic design. Education is the highlight of this year’s biennial and it will also leave aside the work of professionals and will instead put focus on work by students.

The Moravian Gallery is considered the second-largest art museum in the Czech Republic and this event has brought together a series of lectures by the most courageous speakers, exhibitions and programmes, unfolding the importance of connections and relationships between individual tutors, schools and design students.
