Helsinki based illustrator Eero Lampinen creates curious scenes of playful characters positioned in nostalgic fairy-tale settings. Sugar coated hues and modern decorative details paint the tone for these dream like scenarios that blur the lines between fantasy and reality. Although appearing seemingly innocent, the viewer is confronted with a host of mysterious creatures that hint to a darker undertone exploring folklore and the subconscious.
