Graham Clark is an artist based in Brighton. He works straight onto paper while experimenting with lines, patterns and colours. Whats mega impressive is hes never had any formal training beyond art college, no university, and is still able to create characters with such depth.
He says his secret is just to draw enthusiastically every day and draws inspiration from a healthy obsession with Harry Potter and Wes Anderson. In the past hes focused on hand drawn typography and illustrated poetry and has recently refreshed his memory of screenprinting. Graham takes as much interest in the process as the finished product and enjoys seeing a pattern disintegrate as much as seeing it come together nicely.
