Penny Likes Paper is the ever endearing persuit of Illustrator Penny Slawinski. Steering away from traditional cutesy compositions, she brings a darker edge to her playful doodles. Featuring black and white drawings of characters, her naive style is deeper then it first seems. Lending themselves as stories both individually and as a series, each depicted scene invites the viewer to explore a narrative of darker topics such as loneliness and vulnerability.
