SUMMARY:Give Print a Chance Market 2025
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 December at Print Workers Barcelona ( Pl. John Lennon\, Gràcia\, Barcelona ) you have an appointment with more than 25 international and local screenprinters artists by the hand of Give Print a Chance. Screenprinting Market of Barcelona. \nThe Open Call and selection of international and local artists who will participate in the 10th edition of this annual event of screen printing in Barcelona is running until November 15th. \nThanks to the collaboration of Casa Jam Barcelona Print Workers offers free accommodation to long distance artists that participate in Give Print a Chance. \nGive Print a Chance is a Christmas Market dedicated exclusively to illustration and limited edition handmade design. If you are a screen printing artist or you produce work in letterpress\, risography or linocut\, you are still in time to be selected to participate in the 9th edition of Give Print a Chance. \nA little bit of history \nFor 11 years\, Print Workers Barcelona has been promoting screen printing through courses and the extensive catalog of artists in its art gallery. Give Print a Chance is the ultimate expression of this commitment to bring screen printing to the general public as an art as democratic and accessible as it is dazzling. \nLocated on Pl. John Lennon in Barcelona’s charismatic Gràcia neighbourhood\, the name of this annual screen printing event in Barcelona came about easily and almost naturally. What better name than Give Print a Chance in homage to the song Give Peace a Chance by the legendary Liverpool musician? \nAbout the market and the line-up of artists \nGive Print a Chance is a great small-format marketplace. Thus\, in 2024 and 2023\, the total flow of attendees was 900 and 1.100 people .And three years ago there were almost 800 people. So we are very happy to have consolidated Give Print a Chance after the two years of pandemic absence. \nThe market\, like the Print Workers Barcelona project\, has always had an international vocation. And just as the prints in the Print Workers gallery catalogue are sent all over the world\, the market participants are usually local and international artists in equal parts. \nOver the course of 9 editions\, international screen printing artists such as Oli Fowler ( UK )\, Elisa Talentino (Italy)\, Antighost (Germany)\, Tind (Greece)\, Mirjam Dijkema (Netherlands)\, Mandy Doubt (UK)\, Olivier Le Zizien (France)\, Ofycina Peryferie (Poland)\, Ileana Rovetta (Portugal)\, Rat Trap (Colombia) or The Fingersmith Letterpress (Singapore) have shared space with local artists such as Miguel Bustos\, Error Design\, Serigrafia Monoestereo or Jan Barceló\, among many others. \nIf you visit Barcelona for Christmas you should know that… \nGive Print a Chance is a must for lovers of illustration\, design and 100% handmade gifts with free admission. \nAnd if you want to attend as an audience and need accommodation\, Casa Jam Barcelona also offers you a discount. \nSo you can enjoy this event focused on screen printing in Barcelona. A city that you will love. \n\n Author Recent Posts MarcroyDirector at People of Print®Graphic Design\, Illustration and Print Enthusiast.marcroy@peopleofprint.com Latest posts by Marcroy (see all) Nils Leonard on Craft\, Culture\, and Why Print Still Matters - April 28\, 2026 Our time at OFFF Festival 2026 | 10 Key Takeaways - April 19\, 2026 The Virgil Reader Vol. 001: Virgil Abloh’s Legacy as an Open-Source Tool - March 10\, 2026 Print Workers Barcelona was last modified: November 27th\, 2024 by Marcroy
