German photographer Bernhard Lang’s arial shots of a shipping port show the effects of human globalisation on the natural environment. Taking shots directly from above allows the viewer to see the growth of a man made industry from a two dimensional perspective. Organised lines of object and colour neatly mirror one another, sandwiched between symmetrical shipping container arrangements, displaying the structured scale of an ever growing trade.
