Today’s Printing Industry Professionals need the most productive, most streamlined, and most reliable automated solutions to exponentially increase production and profits.
ROQ.US partners with businesses and provides them with the most technologically-advanced printing machines and services that reduce the industry’s environmental impact and reduce the needed overhead to succeed at the highest level.
ROQ made a conscious decision to eradicate the word “customer” from their vocabulary. Hence, they have no “customers,” and only do business with partners. A customer is someone on one end of a transaction, but a Partner is a companion. Invested in their partners’ journeys, too, ROQ provides long-term camaraderie.
Below, we learn more about their current Partners and how ROQ products and services have propelled them to success.

This has greatly expanded both their capacity and capabilities, particularly in their pursuit of the absolute highest quality print production possible. Research and development is also a core component to this effort, and the team has made huge investments towards leveraging leading edge print technologies and equipment with pioneering advanced print techniques, elevating their craft as they continue their pursuit of the highest possible quality. In addition to being a ROQ partner, they are also proud to be a SAATI and Xitron test facility.
12ozCollective are owners of; a ROQ YOU, (2x) ROQ NEXTs, ROQ OVAL, ROQ HYBRID, ROQ FOLD, ROQ STACK, ROQ PACK, ROQ LABEL, (3x) XL ROQ IRONs, (12x) ROQ DRY EVOLUTION FLASHes, and (2x) ROQ SAHARAs.
With all of their equipment, the Collective thoroughly investigated all the options available throughout the industry and intentionally sought out the best solution at each and every step. They comment; “A primary goal for us was to reduce tolerances to their minimum limits and operate on the edge of that limit consistently over time in a full-production environment.
Likewise, we also sought to offload any tasks that could be done better through automation. This allows our staff to focus on aspects of our production processes that humans are best suited for.” By implementing solid solutions to automation, they’ve successfully achieved the best of both, which provides them with more time and energy in their pursuit of quality. “Our partnership with ROQ has played a pivotal role in us achieving our goal,” says the team.

This was in the early days of ROQ, and since they have purchased their ROQ presses and dryer, they have been impressed with the build-quality of them. The team comments; “They are extremely rugged well-built machines. In addition to the impressive build-quality of their equipment, we were also impressed by the customer service team at ROQ. 320 Ink 320 Ink is located in Southern Maine, and was started in a basement in late 2007. Over the past 15 years, they have grown into a 17,000 sf facility and employ 20 full-time staff members. They work primarily with brands, breweries, and other businesses, and focus on providing “ready for retail” apparel.
320 Ink currently runs; a ROQ ECO, (3x) ROQ YOUs, (2x) ROQ SAHARAs, and a ROQ FOLD.
“We chose ROQ because several shops whose work I admired and who I considered some of the best shops in the country were using ROQ presses. We had other brands autos in the past, and are very happy with our switch to ROQ. Getting to know some of the people behind ROQ has only solidified our partnership. They have some really amazing people behind the brand that I respect and admire.” – Drue Nickerson of 320 Ink.
Raw Paw Established in 2010, after their founder taught themselves to screen print after watching a Ryonet DVD with a 4 station press squeezed into the corner of their garage, Raw Paw is a screen print studio that grew out of the art and music scene in Austin, Texas. The ethos of their shop has always been to balance the pursuit of creative passion and achievement with the responsibility of building a business that can provide for themselves and their community. The majority of their clients are artists, musicians, designers, local businesses, and restaurants in Austin. With a passion for elevating their processes with new tools, supplies, garments, and techniques, they screen print water-based, discharge, and plastisol inks, and focus on the right process that best suits the aesthetic of the job at hand. With an innovative approach to their business, the team is currently hosting a t-shirt design challenge called “Huey’s Quest,” where they have developed characters and lore through a web comic. Artists from all over can submit designs with a limited ink color palette, and Raw Paw hosts the shirts on their site.
Their business is home to; a ROQ YOU, ROQ DRY EVOLUTION FLASH‚ and a ROQ REG PRU System.
Raw Paw built their business slowly and carefully over the years, telling us that they were “hesitant” to transition to an automatic press because of how much they had developed their craft with printing by hand and wanted to keep their overheads as low as possible. As they grew and had more business flowing into the shop, manual printing began to become extremely laborious and physically demanding. They comment; “We hit a wall with production, and around the same time, reached a point in the health of our business where we could unlock the new tool of the automatic press. It felt like we graduated from one phase of building a screen print shop to a higher level. A lot of the physical demands have transitioned to mental work and problem solving.” Now that they are a year into the learning curve of running an automatic press, they “really really like the ROQ”. They continue; “It has helped our day-to-day lives greatly and has given us a renewed sense of hope into what Raw Paw can grow into.”
