PSA, or Pear Shaped Apparel, are fast establishing themselves as Brighton’s coolest street wear brand, and spreading rapidly further afield, with sell out collections at London’s Boxpark and their first flagship store opening this year, as well as the launch of ‘The Pear Shaped Social Club’, which has seen UK legends Mike Skinner and Oxide and Neutrino headline events. The name was coined from a Mike Skinner lyric, and the brand has deeply established roots in the underground music scene, drawing inspiration from city life, skate and youth culture.
This week we see their much-anticipated winter collection drop, under the title ‘The Underdogs’, which features hand screen-printed t shirts, outerwear and their signature caps for which they have become so well known, with cool re-works of classic tartan and paisley prints throughout. Be sure to check out their online store if you don’t make it down to Brighton too often, and their instagram never fails to provide the first word on street culture, independent brands and their love of screen print.
