Andrew Davidson :: Harry Potter Covers

Andrew Davidson is an Artist, represented by The Artworks Illustration agency that has recently been commissioned by Bloomsbury to produce a series of illustrations for the cover of the adult editions of the Harry Potter books. Andrews’s incredible illustrations demonstrate his extraordinary craftsmanship skills and are created by hand-crafted wood engravings on English boxwood to Japanese paper. Andrew explained he wanted the images to look asif they had come from a book in the Hogwarts library, each depicting a scene, character or setting from each of the novels getting darker in reflection to the plot in each story.
