Brea Souders is an Artist / Photographer based in New York and is currently represented by East Photographic. In her quest to explore static electricity, Brea has formed a stunning series of images that demonstrate both traditional photographic processes and scientific observation, all rooting from the context of ‘routine studio maintenance.’ The beautiful studies have been formed by discarded negatives, bad exposures, experiments and empty sections of film that cling onto a sheet of acetate due to static electricity. I think it’s safe to say this is a incredibly beautiful and exceptionally interesting body of work.
