By using different methods to recreate images including arbitrary photographs, found imagery, objects and collage techniques, an interdisciplinary artist from Idaho, Eli Craven, has exceeded the limitation of conventional photography and introduced new ways to perceive photos. His personal collection is always of his favourite imagery from print publications combined with his own history. Despite using simple techniques to develop his artworks, he surprisingly proposes new visual language without spoiling the intrinsic beauty of original photography.
