Here at People of Print we all love Matts work and were always excited to keep our readers updated with what one of our favourite up and coming designers is upto. Most recently Matt has been working on another cycle related project and has teamed up with Ass Savers to design a dope pattern for a mud guard, after catching up with the Designer I found his process was equally as impressive as the mud guards aesthetic created pixel by pixel.
Matt met a guy from the Ass Saver brand when he first moved to Amsterdam, and after catching up on a Friday he told Matt they had a custom design going to print on the Monday, and if he could make the deadline and deliver they would be interested in including a second design. Matt explained Since I was fairly new in Amsterdam at the time I didn’t have my mac from the UK shipped over yet. The only computer I had at home was a beat up piece of shit laptop. At this point most Designers would just panic, however Matts not one to shy away from a challenge, he kept his cool and made do with what he had available at the time, and seing as MS Paint was the only design programme he had on his computer, he rolled with it and designed a pattern pixel by pixel, and he did a damn good job of it too.
