MVM: Magnus Voll Mathiassen

Another illustration prodigy known for his brilliant use of colour and his bold stroke of confidence. Magnus Voll Mathiassen aka MVM is an independent Norwegian graphic designer and illustrator running his own practice MVM alongside Grandpeople, a multi-disciplinary studio he co-founded in 2005.

Mathiassen is highly skilled in creating graphic-esque illustrations, exploring the relationship between digital colouring and craft skill. His work spans everything from a portrait of sporting icon Andy Murray to a record sleeve for artist and actress Rihanna. His sheer genius has seen him produce high-profile work for many international brands and clients and has seen his work exhibited worldwide.
