Norman Ackroyds work consists of large scale prints of landscapes ranging from all over the UK. He is a landscape artist based in London and his prints range from tiny etchings intended to be bound into books to huge etchings showing the scale and detail of the coastal desolate places he has taken the inspiriation from. His works range from minimalist, nearly abstract impressions, to detailed images. I am drawn to the fluid large watercolour paintings he has done, they emphasive the atmosphere of the dark passing Islands and give them a very haunting powerful feel.
