Solargraphic is an interesting project by designer Helen White, combining her interest in data collection with her curiosity for capturing momentary, magical moments in nature. The series of prints are created using data collected from a satellite one hour away from Earth, communicating solar activity through the speed of particles released from the Sun that react with our atmosphere. Starting at midnight and rotating clockwise, the result is a circular arrangement of clean, thin lines, jutting and dipping to create an energetic outline, recording movement of the Sun over the course of each day.
