Regarded as one of Linocuts superstars, the prints created by London-based illustrator and printmaker Sophy Hollington represent an exciting departure for intimate realms where touch-screens and mouse-driven desktops seem irrelevant. Known for its beautiful textures and painterly marks, Linocut has always been one of the most intriguing techniques to explore.
After graduating from Camberwell College of Arts in 2011, Sophy has been using her traditional printmaking skills to illustrate the continuing relationship between human communication and reproduction. By producing art prints and publications for both big and small clients including The New York Times, Computer Arts Magazine, The UK Crafts Council and Its Nice That, we have no doubt why she is always in the spotlight.
