Returning for 2015, The Hepworth Wakefield Print Fair is taking place this weekend in West Yorkshire with over 50 stallholders handpicked from around the nation. The fair examines the role of printmakers in contemporary life and showcases an extensive range of fine art prints, textiles, self-published artists’ books and publications. This is no doubt a good opportunity for everyone to pick up their favourite printed goodies at an affordable price.
The list of confirmed galleries and artists includes B&B Gallery, West Yorkshire Print Workshop, Colour May Vary, Emma Mason, and many others.
What’s more, there will also be a series of talks and screenings of short films by Square Eye Printmaking. Nick Loaring from The Print Project will host the letterpress printing workshop on Saturday and there’ll be a demonstration of screen-printing and drypoint by West Yorkshire Print Workshop on Sunday.
