You may have seen our previous ravings about this very memorable London based illustrator who grew up on the Scottish border with a Tanzanian artist mother. Well here’s a great chance to see what all the fuss is about for yourselves, with her solo show opening in Brighton this Friday at 6pm at No Walls Gallery. Her designs have been applied to a range of surfaces including apparel, accessories and LP sleeves and her influences are obvious in her colourful, characterful work – vibrant mark-making and exotic prints feature heavily. Represented by the Central Illustration Agency, Zulu’s work has been featured in Taschen’s ‘Illustration Now’, and she has many exciting new projects in the pipeline. See you at the private view!
