As it’s the start of a new year I thought it would be a great chance to look back and highlight a selection of my personal favourite web features from 2014 after discovering an ever-growing list of exciting talent.

Annu Kilpeläinen
The Finnish born, London based illustrator Annu Kilpeläinen’s bold bright imagery bursts with colour, pattern and tropical vibes and was definitely a favourite find of mine this year

Anymade Studio
This amazing Design Studio based are based the Czech Republic work in the realms of illustration, type, video and graphics and have an extensive portfolio that observes texture, form and layout.

BBY Magazine #1
The new feminist inspired magazine kicked off to a great start this year. The digital and riso printed publication acts as a journal and by collaborating solely with a collection of 15 women this editorial platform aims to counteract the status quo in the art world and inspire more women to take action, through the mediums of text, photography, music, illustration and art.

Calm & Collected
With big things in the pipeline for this year including the drop of their ‘S.A.D’ Publication, South London based creative studio Calm & Collected have smashed 2014, and rightly so.

Chad Kouri
Chad Kouri swiftly made my list of my favourite designers this year, working in a variety of disciplines including print, illustration, collage murals and type, Chad’s bold and beautiful artwork plays with colour pattern and shape.

Ed Spence
Ed Spence’s collaged photographs blew me away this year, with a particularly interesting process involving photographing reflective paper, cutting printed photos into pixels, collaging and reconstructing new prints through photographs Ed formed some truly stunning visuals.

Enda Bowe :: Kilburn Cherry
2014 saw London based photographer Enda Bowe drop his first book ‘Kilburn Cherry’ (through independent publishers Jane & Jeremy) capturing blossom trees in urban environments.

Gino Bud Hoiting X Lennard Kok
Both based in the Netherlands, up and coming Illustrators Gino Bud Hoiting and Lennard Kok teamed up and merged their contemporary comic inspired illustration styles to form their wicked zine ‘Give & Go’

Mansi Shah
2014 saw NYC based designer Mansi Shah launch her first collection featuring innovative printed textiles and accessories – great stuff.

Matt Manson :: Homewares
Long-term People of Print favorite Matt Manson never fails to blow our minds, 2014 saw Matt reach exciting new heights as he launched his fantastic collection of geometric printed ceramics and homewares.

Modla X Damilola Odvsote
3D print studio Modla teamed up with London based Illustrator Damilola Odvsote to drop the most impressive 3D printed sculpture I’ve ever seen inspired by Damilola’s illustration of the iconic Air Force 1 kicks.

Print & paste X Anthony Burrill
The Print and Paste project is another inspiring collaboration of 2014 which saw Anthony Burrill team up with Liam Hopkins and Dave Sedgwick and create a giant set of wood block letter forms which were printed and pasted on a billboard in Manchester to form a giant letter press poster.

Wood Wood :: Utopia
The Danish brand Wood Wood’s deconstructed marble print featured in their SS14 ‘Utopia’ collection is without a doubt one of my favourite fashion prints to come out of 2014.

Yoshinori Mizutani
Last but by no means least, Tokyo based photographer Yoshinori Mizutani’s bold and bright graphic imagery really packs a punch and I can’t wait to see what 2015 has to offer for the emerging photographer.
