Jack Taylor is an illustrator and printmaker based in South London. Jack has a distinctive style of minimal mark making. He often works in monochrome and primary coloured pallets, producing bold and structured imagery. I’m a big fan of Jack’s carefully considered silhouettes, and how he incorporates subtle textures to hint at a traditionally printed aesthetic. I also want to show some appreciation for Jack’s characters – using only a couple of lines this guy is able to convey the essence of an individual’s identity.
Specific projects to check out include #ThroughtheEyesOf run by Its Nice That, for which Jack has designed a bespoke poster themed around Graduation”. He also has work in an upcoming publication called S.A.D, which is being launched next month by creative studio Calm & Collected.
