Le Gun have teamed up with The Cob Gallery to go into the second phase of their collaboration, whereby they have put on a stunning exhibition at the Shakespeare and Company bookshop in Paris called ‘Tales from the Void’ which opens Friday March 27th. The bookshop is infamous for having ‘generations of boozy literary’ visitors, of which Le Gun have drawn inspiration from in creating their sculptural and hand drawn works. Here’s yet another example of a top notch exhibition by the Le Gun art collective, who are also responsible for the incredible front cover of our brand new hard cover book for Thames & Hudson.
Laura Keeling, Events Director, Shakespeare and Company said, “Were very excited to collaborate with Le Gun. Theyre one of the coolest art collectives around and we know theyll pull off an installation thats totally cutting edge but also imbued with that classic Parisian literary spirit.
Curator of The Cob Gallery Cassie Beadle said, Having been a magnet to some of the most interesting cultural icons of the 20th Century, Shakespeare and Company is the perfect setting in which to discover the excellently obscure works of Le Gun.”
