Charlie Soffe has created a beautifully printed zine as a vessel of thought. As he interacted with the city of Birmingham, he recorded the results with analogue photography and collage. Charlie “wanted to create a sense of collective thought and fragmentation to portray the city in a new light, moving past the apparent visual aesthetic of the city and looking at what keeps Birmingham ticking.” The 32 page zine was printed on tracing paper and coloured paper, it includes a bonus track which acts as a soundscape whilst you read.
