Oiôba is a swimsuit and active wear brand born in Rio de Janeiro, but based in Porto. The brand consists of three male architects who do everything for their brand. After a one year trip to Portugal, they found the most beautiful beaches, the most incredible atmosphere and a positive attitude that they couldn’t find anywhere else in the world — this is what caught their eye and soul. Positive energy, natural beauty, fresh flavours and colours, which they try to take into their garments.

For the SS16 ‘Photosynthesis’ collection they have produced something that could help them stand out and spread love and positive energy. They asked four awesome female artists from around the globe to design a limited series of four swimsuits named ‘Undercover’.

Ana Types — Portugal: a graphic designer and founder of We Came From Space, a creative agency that also gives back to their community, organizing free workshops and a room full of computers so the locals can surf the net.

Yoko Honda — Tokyo: an illustrator / designer / creator who’s crazy about the 80s, its colors and madness. Her work is full of those elements and tones we learned to love trough our childhood.

Rhianna Ellington — London, UK: a textile and surface pattern designer who’s in love with botanic and organic motifs. She’s been manipulating flowers, leafs and plants digitally, contrasting them with solid colors making some of the most beautiful patterns we’ve ever seen.

Shawna X — New York City: a visual artist with an unique colorful style reminiscent of summer feelings, sometimes dreamy and vibrant sometimes dark and mysterious.

To present all of this genius they invited another creative artist, Miss Ana Rita Sousa to work with art direction for fashion, design and photography, divided by Australia, Amsterdam and Portugal. She and her boy Ivano Salonia make the dynamic duo behind G’day Byron Bay.
