Here at People of Print we love to see creative companies emerging and flourishing. The company that we’ve had our eye on is newly formed Everpress a beautifully designed online platform with functionality to match it’s aesthetic. To cut a long story short, Everpress allows creatives to sell professionally printed merchandise without the upfront costs and risks of being left with boxes of unsold stock. Using the Everpress campaign builder, artists can upload a design, create custom landing and instantly sell their products to their fan base or community. Using the crowdfunding model, preorders are collected for a limited period and its only once the campaign ends that the items are made to order.
Everpress handles all the production logistics and delivers directly to buyers around the world. Everpress charges a base fee that covers the cost of the garments, printing, packing packing and delivery of each product. The artists chooses the sales price and keeps 100% of the profits.
To run alongside the launch of this platform, Alex Econs has launched a colossal and impressive campaign called 50/50, working alongside 50 of the world’s most influential designers and illustrators to create a limited run of bespoke t-shirts that are only available until the campaign ends, perfect for those who like rare and collectible items. Oh and did we mention that 50% of the proceeds from this awesome campaign go directly to Trekstock charity, dedicated to ensuring that no young adult has to face cancer alone.
Designers include some People of Print favourites HeyStudio, Supermundane, Le Gun, Killer Acid, Studio Moross, Emma Fisher, Kyle Platts, Saskia Pomeroy, Sawdust Studio and Cachette Jack.
