FEMME TYPE Book Launch — London

Come celebrate the launch of FEMME TYPE, a book celebrating women in the type industry published by People of Print (in perpetuum), printed by Pressision Ltd. Located at Signature Brew Bar and Taproom in Haggerston, London, join us for a drink , browse our shop and pick up some exclusive items, take part in our special raffle where you can pick up some awesome People of Print & FEMME TYPE goodies, AND we’ll have a DIY screenprint set up where we’ll be live printing paper prints of featured artwork from the book onto G.F Smith colourplan paper.

After the successful Kickstarter Campaign, FEMME TYPE have been working round the clock to push the book forward in its production. Last week the team had the pleasure of travelling up to Leeds to see it being printed at Pressision Ltd as after adding an additional 16 pages of content and a gatefold to the front cover, this has naturally extended the books production time. Moreover, they can confirm that the book will be ready by the 28th of June (next week!!) and will be shipped the week commencing the 1st of July. We got our hands on a few of the production shots and we can’t wait to hold the physical thing. You can also check out the details about the London book launch below too!
