After spending three decades away, the Pelican imprint has been re-launched as part of Penguin books. Designed to provide affordable accessibility to topics ranging from history to economics, the books can be easily recognised by their distinctive blue covers and bird logo. Although ceasing publishing in 1984, Penguin have decided to bring back the informative and reasonably priced collection, complete with fresh branding. With logo by Richard Green and cover, text and digital design by Matthew Young, the publishing company have put the skills of their own art departments members to good use.
