“Ur-Aqua – Cronache alluvionali”

The APS Centro Studi Internazionale Altre Origini – S-CIAO association and the Dopolavoro Fotografico (DLF) photography collective are collaborating on the exhibition “Ur-Aqua – Cronache Alluvionali,” scheduled for October 2025 at the former Centrale del Latte in Vicenza (Via Giacomo Medici 96a, 36100 Vicenza).
Ur-Aqua – Cronache Alluvionali explores the delicate and unstable balance between urbanized space and the waterways that flow through it—a source of life and prosperity as well as a harbinger of destruction. This transversal reading begins with the unstoppable nature of floods and questions how communities and the environment mutually shape one another in a perpetual cycle of conflict and resolution.
The former Centrale del Latte hosts two exhibitions and a series of events focusing on manual printing techniques and photography as a means of reworking the contemporary.
The exhibition was created with the support of the Department of Participation of the Municipality of Vicenza and the contribution of Madam Agency (ig). Technical sponsor: Kita Frame.
