– Introduction
We’ll begin with an introduction to linocut, discovering the tools, history, and texts that can guide us on our journey.
– From drawing to plate
We’ll discover the tricks for transferring the image and creating a balanced design, taking into account the mirroring of the engraving.
Each participant will create a drawing (or copy a ready-made one) and transfer it to the plate.
– Demonstration and plate engraving
After a demonstration to clarify the correct engraving process, each participant will engrave their own plate.
– Printing, colors, and rollers!
We’ll print our stamps with different colors and on different papers, exploring the different materials, inks, and supports available, along with the different effects we can achieve.
