Organised by the London Transport Museum in partnership with the Association of Illustrators and sponsored by Serco London Stories is a new exhibition opening its doors from the 14th Feb 6th April, featuring 50 works of art and the best entries for the Sercro Prize for Illustration 2014. With entrants being asked to create an illustration that visually captures a London themed narrative, the shortlisted illustrations celebrate a vibrant, multi-layered London containing urban myths, historic events, remarkable characters / animals, and for the very first time 5 short animated films.
On the opening evening (Friday the 14th) there will be a chance to explore the exhibition after hours with a cash bar, DJ, story-telling for adults, short illustration workshops and a photobooth decked out with a choice of London themed props -Definitely worth checking out.
The exhibition will be displayed in the CBS Outdoor Gallery at London Transport Museum, Covent Garden Piazza, London, WC2E 7BB. Admission is included in the entry ticket to the main Museum galleries (adults £15.00 or £11.50 concessions). With tickets allowing unlimited admission for 12 months (children and young people aged 17 and under go free)
