Walk The Talk is a free multi-site exhibition set across the West End and Southside of Glasgow during COP26 from 1 to 12 November 2021. Curated by Concrete Nature, the exhibition features Risograph prints from UK creatives (including multiple members of People of Print!) around the themes of nature and climate change.
The prints speak to the different aspects of the conversations around climate change: The scientific data we must face and work with to build a better future, the personal actions we can take, and the ways in which we interact with the natural world. Displayed in the shop windows of 8 independent businesses, the prints bring these subjects to light with playful visuals, humour, and kindness.
Walk The Talk invites locals and visitors to explore the city to discover the prints, creatives, and venues taking part in the exhibition, while also encouraging us all to consider our relationship to the environment and to take action against climate change.
The exhibition features prints from Andre Williams, Black Lodge Press, Lena Yokoyama, Lily Kong, Matty Palmer and Aimée Merola, National Park Print Shop, Okno, Ploterre, Scotty Gillespie x Dopple Press, and Seed Magazeen.
The prints are on display at Apercu Glasgow, Draw Art Store, Hatch, Neighbourhood, Paulin Watches LTD, Seamster Vintage, Wild Gorse Pottery, and 1841.
